Description
Clayton County Senior Services Department enhances the quality of life and dignity for elderly citizens by assessing and expanding an in-home delivery model. Programs emphasize health and wellness, including screenings, exercise programs, nutrition, education, and field trips.
Located on Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood, the Sonna Singleton Gregory Senior Center is the fourth SPLOST-funded senior center in Clayton County. Expanded features include a lap swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, a community garden, and a large multipurpose space.
May 2023: The shade sails are on order and erosion control placement will begin on May 15. Clearing and grading of the site is set to begin on May 22 (weather permitting) in preparation for landscaping.
