In a special-called meeting held on Aug. 8, 2025, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 2025-163 for reimposition of a one percent Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) to fund capital projects. Resolution 2025- 163 Exhibit A is attached for reference.
Clayton County residents can vote on the 2027 SPLOST on Tues., Nov. 4, 2025.

Since 2004, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners has used the one-cent SPLOST for countywide improvements. The Clayton County SPLOST helps move our county forward by funding capital improvements within infrastructure, public safety, buildings, technology, and overall quality of life.
