Widening and reconstruction of Battle Creek Road

The project includes the widening and re-construction of Battle Creek Road (CR 1342) from Valley Hill Road to Southlake Parkway for approximately 2.11 miles. This project widens Battle Creek Road from the existing two-lane facility to four lanes with a 20-foot wide raised median and urban shoulders including curb and gutter, a 2-foot wide grass strip, and 5-foot wide sidewalks.

Update:  The removal and disposal of stumps, roots, buried logs, and other debris are 80% complete. As clearing continues, erosion control measures are being installed.
