Description

The Clayton County Library System contributes to the community and its citizens by offering services that meet their informational, educational, and leisure interests. There are six libraries located in the County with 2,992 library programs and over 1/2 million books. The Clayton County Library System is a member of GALILEO, Georgia's virtual library of full‑text articles, e-books, journals, educational videos, and more.

Sensitively designed to preserve a cluster of mature hardwood trees, this library in suburban Forest Park integrates with nature. The glass west wall encircles the trees, whose leaves and branches diffuse the natural light entering the building. With the circulation desk at its center and the general connection and children's library on either side, the facility is easy to navigate. Visitors can come and go with ease, but the views and the sunlit interiors will entice many to sit and enjoy a book.
