Description

The Clayton County Library System contributes to the community and its citizens by offering services that meet their informational, educational, and leisure interests. There are six libraries located in the County with 2,992 library programs and over 1/2 million books. The Clayton County Library System is a member of GALILEO, Georgia's virtual library of full‑text articles, e-books, journals, educational videos, and more.

The County's seventh library features a Maker's Space, a creative, collaborative space with tools and equipment for electronics, 3D printing, woodworking, art, design, classes, and events. Open to children, adults, and entrepreneurs, the space features enclosed and individual meeting rooms for 40 people. The furniture, fixtures, and equipment are flexibly mobile for ease of collaboration and include charging stations for phones, laptops, and personal electronic devices.
